Interning at IIMAD for the duration of one month was a very wonderful experience. I acquired many valuable skills and knowledge, to an immeasurable degree. Doing surveys and literature review helped me a lot to know more about the condition of nurses ,returning emigrants and aged groups. Also the surveys imparted the soft skill of keen listening in me. Above all I just wanted to express my gratitude to all the faculties of IIMAD for your guidance and for being such a great support system.

The six-week internship at IIMAD enabled me to grow personally along with equipping me with the basic skills needed for research and collating, which is something that I did not previously have. I was able to get a better understanding of the migration and remittance sector in India, particularly in Kerala. Through making new networks, I was able to gain
references of the sector researchers. Most importantly, it gave me a clearer insight of what it meant to be in a professional setting.

During the 4 weeks of internship I have accumulated various experiences and wider new knowledge through tasks that were assigned to me. It helped me to enhance and develop my skill, abilities and knowledge and IIMAD for giving me this opportunity. I believe that this experience has helped me gain the necessary skills and experience for the next step in my career.

It was a memorable one month working with IIMAD and the experience I have from this organisation was something special.I have improved in many of the fields like verbal communication, data entry and other such aspects.
