Aneeta Shajan is a Doctoral Candidate at the faculty: Arts Design and Social Sciences, Northumbria University in Newcastle, United Kingdom. She is a dental surgeon by training and holds a master’s degree in Public Health. She has earlier worked as a Research Associate under the leadership of Prof. S Irudaya Rajan at the Centre for Development Studies, where she collaborated on various projects focussed on Migration and Ageing.
