We are pleased to announce the Fifth Annual Conference on Ageing, co-organised by the International Institute of Migration and Development (IIMAD) and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIITD).

Titled “Ageing in a Digital World: Rethinking Inequality, Access, and Social Transformation,” the conference will explore how rapid digitalisation is reshaping the experience of ageing across social, economic, and cultural contexts. As digital infrastructures increasingly mediate everyday life, critical questions around access, inequality, agency, and inclusion in later life become ever more urgent.

This conference invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to engage with themes such as the digital divide, lived experiences of ageing, intergenerational dynamics, platformisation of care, and governance in algorithmic societies. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, we aim to deepen understanding and foster meaningful conversations on ageing in a digitally transforming world.
