IIMAD is pleased to announce the launch of the website for Migration and Development Journal. (MAD) “Migration and Development” is available at https://journals.sagepub.com/home/mad At launch, the journal begins a free access period which ends on (06-12-2023).

Kerala Migration Survey 2023 takes place through Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation under the direction of Dr. S. Irudaya Rajan, Visiting Fellow, GIFT and Chair, IIMAD which is funded by the Government of Kerala.

Jolin Joseph is a Doctoral Candidate and Vanier Scholar in Gender, Feminist and Women’s studies at York University, Toronto. Her research considers feminist analysis of migration policies and political economy implications of transnational care migration and gendered-racialized precarious labour. Joseph has taught courses on Migrant Workers and Human Rights that foreground living and working conditions of Caregivers, Agricultural Workers and other migrant and marginal groups in Canada. She has a background in migrant advocacy and was a Research Associate at the Centre for Development Studies, where she collaborated on projects and published in the area of gender, temporary labour mobility and South-South migration.
