It was indeed a great opportunity for me to work with IIMAD, thanks to Rajan sir for taking me as an intern. It was a pleasure working with Sreerupa ma’am with whose support I got a deep insight into the problems faced by transnational families in taking care of their elderly parents back home due to the mobility restrictions imposed by the pandemic. I got introduced to new areas of research which fascinated me as I read more and more about the same. I believe this experience I had will serve as a stepping stone in my future endeavors.
