Dr Shibinu S. is the Head of, Department of Economics at PSMO College, Kerala. Currently, he is a member of the AC Steering Committee and Faculty of Humanities of the University of Calicut, Kerala. Formerly he was a member of the UG and PG Board of Economics of the University of Calicut. He has coordinated two research projects on migration studies funded by the University Grants Commission and presently pursuing a short term project on migration funded by the IUCAE. He has published research papers related to migration studies in peer-reviewed journals and dailies. He has authored two books-Nitaqat and its Impact on the Labour Market of Kerala and Gulf Migration on the Educational Mobility of Muslim Women – A Study of Malappuram.
