This course is designed to introduce one of the world’s largest ageing databases, the Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI). LASI is one of the sister surveys of Health and Retirement Study (HRS) of the US and comparable with similar surveys conducted around different regions and countries. The course will use applied techniques to learn the LASI database and the participants are expected to initiate their own study. During the course, the participants will also learn the basics of data management, and analysis using STATA software.
